International Women's Day: Putting an expiration date on gender inequality

(CNN)Today marks the 105th International Women's Day, an event that got its start when 15,000 trailblazing women marched through New York City to demand voting rights and better working conditions.

A century later -- despite many outstanding female achievements and advancements -- the event's original aim of full gender parity has yet to be realized. Read on to find out what it means to be a woman in 2016.
