NAACP Image Awards honor black achievement in Hollywood

(CNN)The 47th annual NAACP Image Awards kicked off in Pasadena, California, Friday night. Anthony Anderson, star of the ABC sitcom "black-ish" hosted.

The awards honor the achievements of African Americans in television, music, literature and film. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith attended. The couple is boycotting this year's Academy Awards due to a lack of diversity and sparked a movement known as #OscarsSoWhite.
Stars took to their social media accounts to not only show off their fashions but to support fellow actors on their victories. Kerry Washington posted a picture with Michael B. Jordan saying his win was " so deserved."

BIG WINNER TONIGHT! So deserved. Love you Michael.
