"The Americans" co-stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys are expecting a child

The pregnancy will not affect the show

Welcome to the TV co-stars pregnancy club, actors Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys.

Just as “Gotham” co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin confirmed they were expecting a few months ago, Rhys did the same on Saturday at the Television Critics Association’s annual press tour.

Like McKenzie and Baccarin, Russell and Rhys are a couple on and off screen.

The two actors play Soviet spies in 1980s suburban Washington, D.C. in the acclaimed FX series.

Executive producer Joel Fields told the assembled critics that the pregnancy would not affect the show.

“She’s now terribly effective with a blowdart in a sitting position from 12 feet,” says Rhys, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The couple have been together since 2013.

“The Americans” returns for its fourth season on March 16.
