Pensacola, Florida (CNN)Before Donald Trump stepped up to the podium here on Wednesday night to a roaring crowd, the billionaire businessman got a colorful and musical introduction by a patriotic girl group.

"USA Freedom Kids" are a trio clad in American flag-inspired dresses who performed a synchronized song and dance routine in support of Trump's presidential bid.
They danced along to a song that highlighted key themes Trump has talked up during his controversial campaign -- including a sense of unapologetic, aggressive nationalism.
"American pride / It's attitude / It's who we are / Stand up tall," the trio sang before Trump took the stage moments later.
The song also included Trump's tough talk of crushing American enemies:
"Enemies of freedom face the music, c'mon boys, take them down / President Donald Trump knows how to make America great / Deal from strength or get crushed every time."
An earlier version of this story said the girls "appear" to be lip-syncing. Jeff Popick, the father of one of the girls who also manages the group, strongly disputes that. He told CNN the girls are singing.
Other Trump supporters took to the stage to share why they were endorsing the candidate before he spoke.
They included the brother of "Morning Joe" host and former congressman Joe Scarborough, and Kathryn Gates-Skipper, the first female Marine in combat.
