Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama sounds like he's preparing to deliver a sermon.

Backed by church organs, Obama previews Tuesday night's State of the Union address -- the final one of his presidency -- in a new video released by the White House.
"I want us to be able, when we walk out this door, to say we couldn't think of anything else that we didn't try to do. That we didn't shy away from a challenge because it was hard. That we weren't timid or got tired or somehow thinking about the next thing, because there is no next thing," Obama says in the short spot, which was filmed in black and white as he makes revisions to a paper copy of his speech in the Oval Office.
"This is it," Obama says in the video. "Never in our lives again will we have the chance to do as much good as we do now. I want to make sure we maximize it."
Obama's aides are previewing a sweeping address Tuesday, meant to lay out Obama's long-term view of his presidency. Top agenda items likely to form a part of the speech include gun control, closing the Guantanamo Bay military prison and his plans for combating ISIS.
