"For the rest of our life -- my sisters and my brother -- my dad never failed to remind us that a job is about a lot more than a paycheck. It's about your dignity. It's about respect. It's about your place in the community," he said.
"You never quit on America. And you deserve a president who will never quit on you," he adds.
As the five declared Democratic presidential candidates get ready to meet in Las Vegas for Tuesday's CNN Facebook debate, Biden plans to remain in Wilmington, Delaware for a final day before returning to Washington. He is likely to watch on Tuesday night, aides say, although they insist his decision will not be influenced by the debate's outcome.
The same group behind Monday's ad pulled their previous one
last week recalling Joe Biden's painful personal story of loss in its pitch for his candidacy.
By showing photographs of the immediate family members Biden has lost - including his first wife and his oldest son, sources close to Biden said the ad treaded on "sacred ground."
