Originally designed by American architect Warren Platner in the 1970s, the hotel looms over the Thames and is said to be a contemporary reflection on the golden age of transatlantic travel.

Dandelyan won best bar in the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.

The bar, housed in the recently refurbished Mondrian London hotel, was conceived by Tom Dixon's Design Research Studio. Originally designed by American architect Warren Platner in the 1970s, the hotel looms over the Thames and is said to be a contemporary reflection on the golden age of transatlantic travel.

The interior design of Michelin-starred <a href="http://www.gymkhanalondon.com/" target="_blank" target="_blank">Gymkhana</a>, delivered by <a href="http://www.b3designers.co.uk/" target="_blank" target="_blank">B3 Designers</a>, takes diners back to British Raj India with over-head fans that hang from a dark-lacquered oak ceiling, cut glass wall lamps from Jaipur and hunting trophies from the Maharaja of Jodhpur. <br /><br />Reminiscent of India's gymkhana clubs, the dining room is flanked by turned oak booths with marble tables and chocolate leather banquettes. Brass edged tables and rattan chairs finish the look.

This pan-Indian restaurant is located within Copenhagen's The Standard hotel. Verandah's design is the work of design duo Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi. The soft minimalism, punctuated with green planted accents sits in an attractive the original 1930′s building.

The Jane restaurant in Antwerp and Dandelyan bar in London took top prizes at the 2015 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, now in its seventh year.

Designer and architect Matteo Thun and chef Jason Atherton are just two of the names on the 23-strong panel of judges.

The Jane in Antwerp, Belgium is an ex-military hospital chapel that was transformed by local design practice Piet Boon into a modern Gothic space. It features a statement spiked chandelier design and all new stained glass windows by Studio Job.

The art deco inspired Dandelyan bar, housed in the recently refurbished Mondrian London hotel, was conceived by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio. Originally designed by American architect Warren Platner in the 1970s, the hotel looms over the Thames and is said to be a contemporary reflection on the golden age of transatlantic travel.
