Texas Sen. Ted Cruz launched into his presidential campaign on a round Liberty University stage during which part of his remarks were given with his back turned toward the cameras – signaling one of the many challenges candidates face when addressing a full audience.

With most of the cameras positioned from one direction, and Cruz’s penchant for going from one side of a stage to another, there were several key moments where viewers at home only saw his back, and social media followers responded accordingly:
