(CNN)For a guy whose most famous character who felt no emotion, Leonard Nimoy is the recipient of a ton of feelings.

After TMZ reported that the legendary actor beloved as Mr. Spock on "Star Trek" had been rushed to the hospital last week with severe chest pains, friends and fans alike took to social media to wish him well.
On Monday, some wise words about life appeared on Nimoy's official Twitter account.
    In February 2014, Nimoy announced that he had been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease 30 years after having given up cigarettes.
