(CNN) -- The Twitter account for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie joked about the "dangers of autocorrect" after a typo led to a deleted tweet.
Glad to provide some of you a little unintentional humor this morning. Proving none of us are able to escape the dangers of autocorrect!— Governor Christie (@GovChristie) October 29, 2014
About half an hour earlier, his account posted a somewhat unintelligible tweet that seemed to be a misfire and used the word "bongs." The tweet was captured by Politwoops, a website that tracks deleted tweets by politicians.
A few seconds after the deleted tweet, his account posted what appears to be the tweet that was supposed to go up.
