(CNN) -- Snooki gives birth to a little bambina!

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi delivered a baby girl early Friday morning. The former "Jersey Shore" star and fiancée Jionni LaValle welcomed Giovanna Marie LaValle, who weighed in at 6 pounds and 7 ounces.

Polizzi took to Twitter to announce the news, letting fans know Giovanna has a full head of black hair and is, quote, "perfect." This is the second child for the couple, who welcomed son Lorenzo in August 2012.

The reality star kept fans in the loop throughout her pregnancy, regularly writing updates on social media and her official blog.

Snooki published an extensive post about her last-minute pregnancy struggles Thursday, writing, "I'm at that point where I can't move, I can't sleep, I'm waking up 20 times throughout the night, rolling out of bed, waddling to the bathroom and praying ... my water breaks and I'm just ready to go at this point."

The news comes just two months after Snooki's good friend Jenni "JWoww" Farley gave birth to her first daughter, Meilani Alexandra Mathews. Upon learning that Polizzi had given birth to her second, Farley posted a photo on her website of her and fiancée Roger Mathews visiting Snooki in the hospital.

Farley captioned the photo, "My best friend gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl." Could it be long before we see "Snooki & JWoww: The Next Generation" on MTV?

Until then, Polizzi is still busy with her extensive brand, which recently added a junior clothing line called "SnookiLove." Everyone's favorite "guidette" is also set to make a return to television as a fourth season of "Snooki & JWoww" is set to air later this year.
