Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- An attack targeting a convoy of paramilitary forces killed six people in Pakistan's northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkwa on Wednesday.
A roadside bomb exploded while the convoy was going past, the Pakistani military said.
The attack injured 11 others.
The convoy was made up of the Frontier Corp, a military force that comes under the paramilitary command of Pakistan.
On February 17, the militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) killed 23 abducted soldiers leading to a breakdown in peace talks with the government.
On March 1, the TTP announced a ceasefire.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for Wednesday's attack.
