At least 16 people were killed and 22 injured when a suicide bomber driving an explosive-laden car detonated near a car dealership in a town northeast of Baghdad, police said.

Violence was also reported in Baghdad, where shootings and explosions were blamed for six deaths and injuries to more than 20 others, police in the capital said.
