School, neighborhoods evacuated after Tennessee plant fire

(CNN) -- A recycling plant fire outside Nashville, Tennessee, has forced the evacuations of several neighborhoods and schools, according to CNN affiliate WSMV.

Crews are on the scene fighting the blaze, which broke out shortly after 11 a.m. ET at the Industrial Plastic Co. in Lyles, about 45 minutes southwest of Nashville.

All neighborhoods and schools within a 4-mile radius of the plant, including an elementary and intermediate school, are being evacuated, WSMV reported. No injuries were immediately reported.
