(CNN) -- Actor Anthony Mackie was arrested early Saturday for drunken driving in New York City, police said.
The arrest happened at 1:22 a.m. in Harlem, Detective Brian Sessa told CNN.
TV's Judge Joe Brown was jailed on a contempt of court charge issued by a Tennessee juvenile judge on Monday, March 24, according to a court spokesman. He was later released on his own recognizance, CNN affiliate WMC-TV in Memphis, Tennessee, reported. Brown was in court to represent a client in a child-support case and allegedly became upset when he was told the case was not on the afternoon docket.

Mackie's camp did not immediately return a call later that day seeking comment.
The celebrated actor in theater and television has starred in numerous films such as "The Hurt Locker," which won the best picture Academy Award in 2010.
