A bus carrying soccer fans ran off a 10-meter (32-foot) cliff in western El Salvador on Sunday afternoon, killing at least six people and injuring at least 48, authorities said.
The passengers were fans of a local team in Sonsonate, said William Flores of the Sonsonate fire department.
He said five people were pronounced dead at the scene. A sixth victim died later at a hospital.
Preliminary reports said the bus had mechanical problems.
