- Police look for a 29-year-old suspect
- No charges have been filed
- The dead man was shot in the head, two other victims are in critical condition
A gunman made his way into a Brooklyn apartment Friday afternoon and opened fire, killing a man and leaving three others wounded -- but leaving no obvious motive, police said.
The dead man, whose name was not released, was shot once in the head, police said.
Authorities Friday night were looking for a suspect they identifed as 29-year-old Joseph Brown, but he remained at large and no charges had been filed, according to a news release from the New York police department.
Two of the wounded -- a 24-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman -- were in critical condition at a New York hospital Friday night, police said. The third wounded person was grazed on the head by a bullet and was treated at the scene.
