2 killed in Myanmar plane crash

An officer from Myanmar's Department of Civil Aviation inspects the remains of the plane on December 26. An Air Bagan representative said the airline was investigating the crash.
The Air Bagan plane, which was carrying 71 people, burns December 25 near Heho Airport. A tour guide on board the plane and a motorbike rider on the ground were killed.
Smoke rises from the scene. The Air Bagan plane was trying to land at Heho Airport but was hampered by heavy fog, the Myanmar Ministry of Information said.
The crashed plane continues to smoke as rescue personnel survey the area.

(CNN) -- Two people were killed and 11 were injured after a plane crashed Tuesday near an airport in central Myanmar, authorities said.
The Air Bagan plane, carrying 71 people, was trying to land at Heho Airport but was hampered by heavy fog, the Myanmar Ministry of Information said. It crashed breaking the tail of the plane and killing a tour guide on board. Also a motorbike rider on the ground was killed.
Myanmar in grip of economic revolution
An Air Bagan representative said the airline was investigating the incident.
The plane took off from Mandalay, Myanmar's second largest city, on Tuesday morning and was headed to Heho, a destination near Inle Lake, one of the nation's most popular tourist destinations.
