New York man to plead guilty to murder of 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky

(CNN) -- A New York man accused of smothering and dismembering 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky is expected to plead guilty to murder and kidnapping charges next week, according to a source close to the investigation.
Levi Aron, who had initially pleaded not guilty, is due in court on August 9. He is expected to receive 40 years behind bars to life in prison.
His attorney declined comment.

New York City's chief medical examiner said that the Brooklyn boy died last summer after being drugged and then smothered.
The autopsy results for Leiby listed a cocktail of four prescription and over-the-counter drugs in the boy's system: cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxant; quetiapine, an antipsychotic drug; hydrocodone, a pain medication; and acetaminophen, the drug found in Tylenol.
Leiby disappeared while walking home alone from summer day camp. Police located human remains in Aron's freezer during a search of the Brooklyn neighborhood as well as in a trash bin.
Aron was a clerk at a maintenance supply company, authorities said.
Aron and Leiby were members of the borough's close-knit Orthodox Jewish community, although police say it doesn't appear that they knew each other.
