(CNN) -- A suspected drone strike killed four militants Thursday in Pakistan's tribal region bordering Afghanistan, a senior government official said.
The strikes targeted a militant compound in Miranshah town in North Waziristan, said Mukhtar Zeb, the official .
North Waziristan is one of seven districts along the border region.
