- Travolta's Atlanta accuser is now identified as John Casey Truesdale
- Truesdale hired Gloria Allred last week after firing another lawyer
- Allred says she is considering refiling the sex battery suit in another court
- Travolta's lawyer calls the accusations "ridiculous"
Los Angeles lawyer Gloria Allred flew to Atlanta Wednesday to confer with a male massage therapist who accused John Travolta of groping him.
Allred's client, previously known only as John Doe #2, is now publicly identified by Allred as John Casey Truesdale, a 40-year-old Atlantan.
Truesdale hired Allred a week ago as he fired his first lawyer and withdrew from a federal sexual battery lawsuit against Travolta.
Another male massage therapist, who still is identified only as John Doe #1, also retained Allred to represent him concerning similar accusations against the actor.
Allred said last week that she would confer with her clients about refiling the lawsuit in another court.
"We believe that the lawsuit should be filed in another court and, therefore, the lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice," Allred said last Thursday. "We will be conferring with our client regarding what will happen next in this case."
Travolta lawyer Martin singer has called the charges "ridiculous," and denied media reports the actor had considered paying to settle the lawsuit.
