(CNN) -- Superstar mare Black Caviar cemented her place in the record books when she scored her 20th win from 20 races in Australia on Saturday.
The sprint sensation set a new Australian record of 20 consecutive wins with another commanding display in the six furlong Group One race at Morphetville in Adelaide.
It means the unbeaten daughter of Bel Esprit has gone one better than American racehorse Zenyatta, who put together a streak of 19 wins before faltering on her 20th attempt.
As usual, Black Caviar's jockey Luke Nolen was virtually motionless as his mount sauntered clear of the rest of the field rounding the last bend.
Black Caviar now has her sights set on Royal Ascot in June, where she will run in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.
Her trainer, Peter Moody, may give her one more run in Australia before shipping her to England. It means she could come into Ascot off the back of an unprecedented streak of 21 wins, no defeats.
