(CNN) -- [Updated 4 p.m. Monday, January 30] The photo above was taken in Chittagong, Bangladesh, which is a "graveyard" of sorts for old ships.

Every year, hundreds of tankers, ferries and cargo ships are brought to Chittagong, where they are dismantled for spare parts.

This scene was captured in 2010 by Czech photographer Jana Asenbrennerova.

"I felt swallowed by the massive pieces of ships that surrounded me," she said. "The multitude of noises, many machines running at the same time, men yelling commands to each other."

About 80% of the world's out-of-service ships are recycled in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, according to NGO Shipbreaking Platform. Click here to see more of Asenbrennerova's shipyard photos on our CNN Photos blog.

CNN.com commenters "lunoshard" and "ksa1987" were the first to answer correctly our photo challenge this week. Another reader, "mensch3," added an interesting note: if you check out Chittagong on Google Maps' satellite view, "you can actually see a lot of the ships being chopped up." Pretty cool!

[Original post] Do you know where this photo was taken?

If you think you know the answer -- or if you just want to take a wild guess -- post it in the comments area below. Later in the day, we'll reveal where the photo was taken and give credit to those who figured it out first. (The more detail, the better!)

Each Monday morning, we'll post a new photo and challenge you to tell us its origin. The photo might be related to a prominent news story or theme -- or it might just be something that caught our eye.

Good luck!
