Baghdad (CNN) -- One Iraqi soldier was killed and six others were wounded when a roadside bomb hit an Iraqi army convoy in Baghdad on Sunday morning, said an official with Iraq's Interior Ministry.
The incident took place in the Adhamiya Sunni neighborhood in northeastern Baghdad, said the official who is not authorized to release information to media and spoke on the condition of anonymity
In addition, four civilians were wounded Sunday afternoon when a roadside bomb exploded on a busy street in the al-Bayaa neighborhood of southwestern Baghdad, the official said.
