The International Monetary Fund elected its first female Managing Director this week, French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde. Aside from tackling the Greek debt crisis, Lagarde will also have to address the ongoing economic fallout from the Arab Spring as MME found out.

After decades of sanctions and war, one country that is trying to rebuild it's economy is Iraq. As the rest of the region reels from the effects of the Arab Spring, MME sat down with Iraq's government spokesman, Ali al-Dabbagh and asked him what lessons the Arab world can learn from his country's experience.
