(CNN) -- Violence in Iraq left four people dead and 12 others wounded, Interior Ministry officials said Friday.
In the Karrada district of central Baghdad, two civilians were killed and eight others were wounded when a car bomb exploded on a busy commercial street, the officials said.
Two improvised explosive devices went off among heap of trash in western Ramadi. When police arrived to investigate the incident, a third IED exploded, killing a police captain and wounding two officers, the officials said.
Ramadi is about 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of Baghdad.
In al-Dora district in southern Baghdad, a roadside bomb exploded at an Iraqi police patrol, killing a bystander and wounding two police officers.
