Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A makeshift bomb in Afghanistan's Kandahar province Thursday killed three people, including a child, NATO said.
Four others were wounded and rushed to a hospital in the Kandahar district, said a statement from NATO's International Security Assistance Force.
In another attack in southern Afghanistan, a NATO service member was killed when a makeshift bomb exploded. No other details were immediately available.
