Buenos Aires, Argentina (CNN) -- One worker was killed and another was critically burned Wednesday morning in an explosion at a refinery in Argentina, the state-run Telam news agency reported, citing firefighters.
The blast at the refinery, owned by Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras, happened in Bahia Blanca, located about 400 miles southwest of the capital, Buenos Aires.
The incident happened a little before 1 a.m. (12 a.m. ET) in the refinery's control room, Telam reported. The situation was under control and the rest of the plant was not affected, Telam reported.
