Johannesburg (CNN) -- Two trains collided Friday in South Africa, killing at least one person, authorities said.
More than 100 passengers suffered minor injuries from the collision, which occurred west of the capital of Pretoria in Rosslyn, an emergency services spokesman Johan Pieterse said.
The trains were travelling on the same track when they hit each other, he said. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the incident.
