(CNN) -- A pilot and a passenger died when a civilian plane crashed at Eglin Air Force base in Florida Thursday morning, the air base said.

The Aero Club Beech aircraft belonged to a local flying club, said Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen. She said foul play is not suspected.

The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m.
