(CNN) -- The death of a woman injured in the May tornado in Joplin, Missouri, brings the toll from the deadly twister to 156.
Grace M. Sanders died from injuries suffered in the May 22 tornado, said Lynn Onstot, a spokesman for the city of Joplin. No other details were immediately available.
The toll had last been updated on Friday to 155.
The Joplin tornado is the single most deadly tornado to hit the United States in 60 years, according to National Weather Service records.
