Los Angeles (CNN) -- The child custody battle between Halle Berry and her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry has apparently reached a resolution, according to court documents and a lawyer.
After the Oscar-winning actress attended a closed meeting at a Los Angeles County courthouse Wednesday, her lawyer said Berry was "very pleased with the judge's order."
Aubry is the father of Berry's 2-year-old daughter Nahla.
While the documents in the family law case are sealed, court records showed that the judge dismissed the child custody and support petition filed six weeks ago by Aubry.
The records indicated the dismissal was at Aubry's request.
"We are pleased the judge took the time to deal with this very imminent and important issue," Berry lawyer Neal Hersh said in a written statement to CNN Wednesday afternoon. "The judge read a great deal of paperwork and gave us time to argue."
He gave no indication of what the judge ordered, except to say "Halle is very pleased with the judge's order."
Aubry's lawyer did not immediately respond to CNN's request for comment.
