(CNN) -- An Oregon man suspected of attacking a woman at the Denver International Airport last week has been charged with one count of sexual assault, the Denver District Attorney's office said Tuesday.
Noel Bertrand, 26, is accused of attacking a 22-year-old woman in an empty gate area of concourse A on April 12. She had missed her flight and met Bertrand at an airport restaurant earlier, the office said.
Two airline employees reportedly intervened in the assault and notified security. Denver Police were called and Bertrand was arrested at the scene, according to the District Attorney's office.
Bertrand is currently in custody on a $50,000 bond.
