(CNN) -- State police are searching Tuesday for two missing children after finding the bodies of two people in a home in south central Kentucky.
Twelve-year-old Kyra Shockley is 4 foot, 8 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and has blond hair and hazel eyes, according to the Amber Alert. She has a scar on her left eye and wears black glasses with pink diamonds on the side.
Fifteen-year-old Christopher Endicott is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 250 pounds and has blond hair and green eyes, according to the alert. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a T-shirt and a dark-colored ball cap.
The alert said the children are possibly involved in a double homicide.
The missing boy is the adopted son of two people found dead in a Metcalfe County home, said Trooper Billy Gregory, a state police spokesman. Endicott lived at that same residence.
The two victims, a man and a woman, were discovered Tuesday afternoon. Gregory said they were married and became legal guardians of the boy earlier this year. He could not say how they died.
"We're still in the very, very early stages of the investigation," said Gregory. "Every scenario is open."
A car is also missing from the home. It is described as a 1997 white Chevrolet Lumina in the Amber Alert. The children may or may not be with the vehicle, Gregory said.
"At this point, we're really concerned about where they are," he said.
