"Twilight" fans might be sad that the five-part series wrapped filming in July, but the saga's star Kristen Stewart is excited about her next role.
"I've had the most indulgent experience on 'Snow White and the Huntsman' so far," the actress, 21, who plays the title character, told reporters at Los Angeles' "Breaking Dawn -- Part I" premiere on Monday. "We had a lot of pre-production and I really got close with the director [Rupert Sanders] and [costar] Chris [Hemsworth] and everything, so I'm having a great time!"
And Stewart wants to make one thing clear: She doesn't feel like she needed much of a break before diving back into a starring role again.
"Obviously everyone thinks it's a kind of rush to do it," she says. "[But] it was good timing; I had a little bit of time off in between [filming "Breaking Dawn" and "Snow White"]. It was good."
As for her time working on "Twilight" -- which she calls "pretty unique" -- Stewart tells PEOPLE she is grateful for her fans but is "fine either way" with the extreme fanfare or without it.
