- The blast wounds the intelligence chief's bodyguards
- it also kills a school girl on her way to school, an official says
The intelligence chief of northern Afghanistan's Faryab province was injured when a suicide bomber targeted his car Monday morning, the province's deputy governor said.
The attack killed a school girl and wounded four of the intelligence chief's body guards, said provincial Deputy Governor Abdul Satar.
"The girl was killed in front of her house before she left for school," Satar said.
