3 killed, several wounded in Iraq explosions

Baghdad, Iraq (CNN) -- Two separate explosions killed at least three people and wounded several others in Baghdad Wednesday morning, police said.

The first blast took place in northeastern Baghdad outside a compound of the Sunni Endowment, which oversees Sunni religious sites in Iraq. It killed two security guards and wounded four bystanders, police said.

The second explosion occurred when a bomb attached to a car went off in southern Baghdad. A civilian was killed and four others wounded in the attack, police said.
