London, England (CNN) -- Six countries -- China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Morocco and Iraq -- will not attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremonies in Oslo, Norway, the Norweigian Nobel Committee said Thursday.
The Nobel Committee has selected jailed Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo to receive the prize.
