Moscow, Russia (CNN) -- The search resumed Saturday for six sailors missing after their tugboat sank in the Laptev Sea off Siberia's northern coast, Russian news agencies reported.
Fourteen people were aboard the vessel when it sank Friday about 20 miles from the town of Tiksi, RIA-Novosti said.
Three crew members were saved by a tanker that rushed to the scene, and five dead bodies were recovered, RIA-Novosti and the Itar-Tass news agency reported.
Helicopters and vessels were taking part in the search, and RIA-Novosti said divers were also looking for the men.
The three who were rescued are the tugboat's captain and two sailors. They are said to be in satisfactory condition, the news agencies reported.
