Kabul, Afghanistan Cnn) -- Suspected Taliban militants killed four police officers in northern Afghanistan, local officials said Wednesday. Elsewhere, two NATO service members died in insurgent attacks.
The police officers were attacked in Kunduz province Tuesday evening, the provincial spokesman said.
The two service members, with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force, were killed Wednesday in separate attacks.
One died in an attack in southern Afghanistan; the other in the eastern part of the country.
Per policy, the security assistance force did not release the service members' names or nationalities.
