12 injured in suicide blast at Pakistan mosque

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- Twelve people were injured Sunday in a suicide bombing at the entrance to a Shia mosque in the Pakistani city of Sargodha, police said.

The suicide bomber blew himself up when he was stopped by security personnel at the entrance, Sargodha police official Muhammad Ashraf said. The blast took place minutes before evening prayers began, he said.
