Quake strikes Baja California, Mexico

Mexico City, Mexico (CNN) -- A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Tuesday morning in Baja California, Mexico, about 20 miles (33 km) south-southwest of the city of Guadalupe Victoria, the U.S. Geological Service reported.

The quake occurred at a depth of 7.1 miles (11.5 km), the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
