Explosive device blows up at Mexico market, city government says

(CNN) -- A explosive device blew up early Tuesday at an open air market in Reynosa, Mexico, the city government reported.

The device exploded at 6:09 a.m., causing damage to structures at the market, the Reynosa government reported on its Twitter account.

No casualties were reported, the city government said in a later posting.

Reynosa is in the border state of Tamaulipas, the scene of severe fighting this year between two rival drug cartels.
