(CNN) -- Severe weather was predicted to hit the southern plains Friday, a day after at least three tornadoes ripped through the area.
Two of the twisters hit near Goodnight and one more hit near Jericho on Thursday evening, said Alvin Preston, a spokesman for the Armstrong County Sheriff's Office.
Amateur footage of the twister near Goodnight showed a large funnel cloud that reached from the sky to the ground tearing across the rural area.
There were no reports of injuries or damage, Preston said.
Severe thunderstorms were predicted to hit parts of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri and Iowa on Friday, the National Weather Service said.
CNN's Maggie Mazzetti contributed to this report.
