(CNN) -- Five people, including three sheriff's deputies, were wounded by gunfire in a Pensacola, Florida, residential neighborhood Friday morning, according to an Escambia County sheriff's spokeswoman.
A man and a woman were among the wounded, spokeswoman Carla Kunert said.
The conditions of the victims were not immediately known.
The wounded man was taken into custody, Kunert said.
