(CNN) -- A Delta Air Lines plane came to rest at the end of the runway in Savannah, Georgia and had to be towed to the gate, a Delta spokesman said Monday.

A spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration, Lynn Lunsford, said Flight 339 from Atlanta, Georgia landed in heavy rain just before 12:30 p.m. ET.

No one was hurt.

It took about 40 minutes to get the plane to the gate, Delta's Anthony Black said.
