
(CNN) -- A vehicle crashed into a bus shelter in San Francisco on Tuesday, the fire department said.
Four people are confirmed hurt, three of them with life-threatening injuries, said Mindy Talmadge of the San Francisco Fire Department. The victims were transported to a hospital.
Police told CNN affiliate KTVU a driver was trying to negotiate a curve in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood and lost control, hitting people who were waiting for a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus.
