(CNN) -- Workers putting up a concert tent outside a casino in El Reno, Oklahoma, were injured Tuesday when strong winds caused the tent to collapse, authorities said.

"The strong winds came out of nowhere," said Mark Rodgers of the Lucky Star Casino.

Two of the six workers erecting the tent were injured when the tent and some light structures fell, said Rodgers. The injuries were non-life threatening, he said.

The accident forced the casino to cancel the Tuesday night concert featuring rock guitarist Peter Frampton and musical group Yes.

Rodgers says as many as 2,000 tickets were sold for the event.

The concert will be rescheduled for a later date.
