New Delhi, India (CNN) -- Dense fog cast a shroud over northern India on Monday, disrupting air and train traffic, state media reported.

More than 70 flights were either delayed or diverted at Indira Gandhi International Airport, according to Indian public broadcaster Doordarshan. More than 100 flights were affected on Sunday.

The heavy fog also disrupted train schedules, delaying or rescheduling about 60 trains, Doordarshan reported.
