(CNN) -- Authorities on Wednesday were looking for the person who left a message on a plane lavatory mirror indicating a bomb was on board.

The threatening message was found scrawled on a Thai Airways flight en route from Bangkok, Thailand, to Los Angeles.

Flight 794 landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday (midnight ET). The plane was taken to a remote area, where the police met it, the Transportation Security Administration said.

"Investigators who conducted a thorough search of the aircraft, luggage and cargo found no evidence to suggest a credible threat to the aircraft existed," said Laura Eimiller of the FBI's Los Angeles office.

No arrests have been made.

The message was found written on a mirror in the plane's lavatory, the TSA said.

After the plane landed, bomb technicians and canine units were called to the scene. The plane's passengers and crew were interviewed. Authorities also rescreened luggage, Eimiller said.

CNN's Nick Valencia and Sonya Hamasaki contributed to this report.
